To get a refund for your Visitor Oyster card, you have two options described below.
At a Visitor Centre
Visit a London Visitor Centre (except Gatwick) and bring your card. You'll receive a quick refund in cash or a credit to your original payment method. Your card will be returned to you, but it will be canceled.
By post
To get a refund by post, please send your Visitor Oyster card with a letter explaining reasons of returning to:

If you provide a phone number or email address, TfL will contact you to arrange a bank transfer, otherwise your credit will be refunded by cheque in GBP. Your card will not be returned to you.
VisitBritain reserves the right to apply an administrative fee to any refunds approved outside of these terms and conditions. We will inform you if your purchase is subject to an administrative fee on receipt of your request.
